To keep the Christmas spirit going up, the Rotaract Club of ICBT set out to spread the Christmas joy by having Christmas Carols which was performed in front of ICBT Campus on the 27th December 2021 from 5:30pm onwards, which was also live streamed on our Instagram page for people to join us virtually. Sixteen of our very own rotaractors performing this event in front of a large crowd was such an amazing joyful experience.
Our main focus doing this project was to uplift people’s heart, and to gather and spread the Christmas joy as one family to everyone, especially in middle of this Covid-19 pandemic to distract themselves from all the negativity happening around us. We also conducted a small donation campaign for the “Alphas’ Helping Wings” project where we collected 2600/- which gave a small boost to fund for the kids at Roman Catholic Tamil Vidyalaya, Rajagiriya.
Having an unexpected large crowd was such a blessing to see. Having a large crowd of club members and their family and few other rotaractors from other clubs. We believe that we have lifted the Christmas spirit in everyone and to keep pushing forward no matter what comes in our way. Always focus on the positive side of life and keep your heads up high.
